We have had a lot of new changes in our family! The first bit of good news is that I recently passed my first GACE (Georgia Assessments for the Certification of Educators). I took the middle grades science test and passed! I am now qualified to teach science in grades 6-8 in Georgia, once I have a college degree. Our system here is that you need to have a degree in any subject and then pass the GACE in whatever subject you would like to teach. I plan on taking the history one sometime in the summer. Second, Roy got an awesome job at the company I-Technical Services. His position is incoming quality inspector, in which he reviews different technological components before they are sent out to be assembled. He checks to make sure they work properly and writes reports on what needs to be fixed. Lastly, Roy and I have added an addition to our little family with our first dog together. Her name is Blue and she is a 10 week old Aussie/Flat coat mix, and she is a handful! If there is trouble to be had she will find it! She loves to eat everything and is still working on being trained. She starts puppy kindergarten on March 16th and it is a 6 week course. Roy and I are still getting used to the big responsiblity of raising her, but while it is difficult it is very rewarding. We love her very much and we are sure she will get along very well with the puppy that will be arriving in June because she is very sweet. She is 13 pounds now but she's estimated to grow to 60! Enjoy the pictures!
