Congratulations to Missy, Dave & Evelyn from the Atlanta and Athens Georgia Beyers. Evelyn looks beautiful in the pictures and I am sure even more beautiful in person. We can't wait to see her. Keep adding more pics so we can follow along with her development.

Leaving the hosptial...

Here are 2 pics from Friday morning just before leaving the hospital. It's so nice to be home. :) We are adjusting well and trying to get Evelyn to be awake during the day since she likes keeping us up all night long. I must admit, she did much better last night; perhaps our strategy is working.

We've had such a busy weekend filled with lots of visits from friends and family, with more visitors stopping by tomorrow. Dave will have to go back to work on Weds. He's planning on taking a week off in about a month. Mom is also taking some days off here and there to help out. My P's dropped off 2 nights of dinners earlier which we enjoyed one of the dishes tonight. Thanks M & D.

Tomorrow we take her to the doctor. Hope all checks out well.

It's a Girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Evelynn (not sure of the spelling) Avery Wood arrived September 3, 2008 at 4:03 pm. She is 19 1/4 inches and 7 pounds 6 ounces. Both sets of proud grandparents arrived at the hospital with Uncle Bobby to visit.

Grandparents Know Best

Hello Everyone,

Sunday Jim and I attended a class at Condell Hospital for grandparents. We both passed and received our certificate of completion. Things sure have changed since we had kids. We are surprised that our kids survived. We are waiting for the arrival of peanut. I believe that Dave will take a week off and then I will help the next week.

By the way, you can't spoil a child during the first three months.
