7 months old!!!

Here I am, seven months old. I still love to smile and jump. I'm also pretty good at eating. I'm sure putting my two chompers to work. They especially help me eat gerber puffs. They're like cheerios, but they melt in your mouth. The newest veggie I've tried and really like is green beans. Today I tried pears, and I didn't even make a funny face!

I've been to the park a few times. I enjoy relaxing in the swing. The funnest times are when Uncle Bobby takes me down the big slides.

I'm getting pretty good at sitting up all by myself. I can even lean forward and sit back up, recovering nicely. (as seen in photo #1 :) )
I have yet, and appear to be far from mastering the rolling over thing. I think it's over rated anyway.

Looks like Evelyn has her 2 front teeth...and she didn't even have to ask Santa! ;)

6 months!!!

Hi all,

Today I'm six months old. Let's see, I grab anything within my reach and put it in my mouth. No teeth yet, but lots of drool. Besides smiling, my favorite thing to do is jump. I jump in the exersaucer, jumpy jump or even while I'm being held.

I've tried real food too... carrots, peas, sweet potatoes, avocado and squash. My favorite is avocado and squash isn't too far behind.

I've gotten real good at pushing myself up on my arms which makes tummy time much less of a chore. I'm not yet an avid roller-over, but I'm working on it. Oh yeah, and I love grabbing my feet.

I'm not exposed to much tv, but my favorite show is Wheel of Fortune. I'm mesmerized by all the colors. I'm not very good at solving the puzzles, but Daddy says that will come with time.

5 months

Hello! Today I'm 5 months old. I can't believe how fast time is flying by. I feel like I'm learning something new every day. So, I'm officially on a routine! I sleep from 10pm to 8:45am. I also take 2 naps, each about an hour. I still only eat 1 tablespoon of cereal daily, plus milk of course. Mommy might start me on other food this month, otherwise next month for sure. She's planning on making it herself. I found my thumb. (See picture below.) I also found my feet. I really enjoy watching the two furry things run around the house all day. They make funny sounds too. I've rolled over just twice, but think I'm due for some more.
