mum wins city finals!

Mum's tennis team won the city championship! She was captain of this winning team. They also won best table (everyone dresses up their own food table) which had a wedding theme - hence the veils on some of the ladies hats. Dad was the biggest supporter (he told me to write that). Mum has been pretty pumped since her win - hard to live with, but would have been worse if she lost.

The Brandon's

Jeremiah really likes his new job. He told me that he looks forward to going to work and talking with the different people. I like the fact that he gets free gas for his work truck, because he does a lot of driving. I got a job in Springfield at St. Johns Hospital in the NICU. I will start there July 13th at 8:00am. That is really early. We are moving into our new house Fathers Day weekend. I hope the weather is nice. Hope everybody is doing good.

prom 2009

this is one of my photos taken at my friend siraji's house; that's where the 14 of us in my group met for photos. this is one of 4 of the "couples" photos, I'll be sure to upload group and boy/girl pictures. rodrigo and I had a super fun time with our "couples" photo part because, out of the 14, we were the only two that was actually a "couple" so we got lots of pictures taken.

Happy Birthday/ Happy Anniversary

Happy Birthday Rick. Happy Anniversary Fred & Shawn.

Starting today Onsrud is going back to 40 hour weeks from 36 hour weeks. I was enjoying working 36 hours, but the pay cut stunk.

Congrats Scott on your new job. Another place to visit!!!!

I have a wish list of things to do Memorial Day weekend. We will see how much gets done.

Have a nice Memorial Day.

Texas!

Hello all,

For those of you who haven't heard I have recently accepted a job offer in Cypress-Fairbanks, Texas. Cypress-Fairbanks is a northwest suburb of Houston. The school district has yet to place me, but that should be coming within the next few weeks.

The subbing in Mattoon is going great. I no longer envy English teachers with the massive amounts of grading... Nonetheless its been a fun adventure!

Here in the next week or two I will be moving back to Ohio for one last summer of working a Cedar Point. I can be found in the Park Operations office taking in all the phone calls and complaints about the park!

Hope everyone is doing great and have a phenomenal Memorial Day!

Hey everyone!!!

We had a great weekend. We were very blessed with beautiful weather. We were able to get all our yard work done. We pulled weeds and more weeds, put sand in between our patio blocks and planted some hostas and flowers. It looks lovely. :)

We are seriously considering looking in the foreclosed home market for a new place. We plan on staying in this area. We think we are going to try on the landlord hat and rent out our townhome?!? We'll see how it goes. We are getting the paperwork ready to apply for a loan this week.

The top pick is of Evelyn trying a teething biscuit for the first time. She liked it. :) The next pic is her in the bike carriage. She sits so contently and looks out the window while we pull her along on our bikes. It's adorable to watch Dave pull her along.

I have to apologize to Scott...after several attempts, he still hasn't received the re invite to join the blog and has been wanting to post for a few days now. I hope he got the one I just sent him. Please email me if someone else didn't get their invite.

Happy, happy birthday to Uncle Rick tomorrow. Happy anniversary to Uncle Fred & Aunt Shawn on Thursday. Happy anniversary to me & Dave on Sunday and happy anniversary to Uncle Rick & Aunt Ellen on the 28th!!!

Love ya,
Missy
