Hi Everyone,
Well I have survived the first two days of class for the semester, which is, I guess, a good start to my senior year. So far my classes do not seem to be too terrible, I found out that my practicum placement will be as far from Charleston as the Champaign area -- which I am not too excited about all the driving. Other than that, most of my classes seem to be pretty good and interesting.
The "random" suitemates has worked out very well thus far in the semester. One of the three has a serious girlfriend and more or less lives with her. And the other two are just goofy and fun to be around, the three of us have all worked at some kind of summer camp, and Jake and I are both picking up a Driver Ed. minor so it turns out that we have one class together.
Work at the Carman Hall front desk is going well. Getting more hours that I care too, but the paychecks will be nice! I am still working out on the horse farm, which is doing very well. I was out there for two hours mowing and dragging the riding arenas on Monday. Jim and Kay, the owners of the farm, put up a very large indoor arena and once that is completed I will start riding, as Jim and Kay both want me to show some of their horses starting as early as September at some schooling shows in Indiana.
Other than that, I just finished a reading assignment and I am off to bed!
Love,
Scott
